30-Day Life Change Journal

Welcome! This is your 30-day guide after any psychedelic trip. It helps you feel steady, find meaning, and live with thanks, your true self, and joy. You don't need more trips to keep the good feelings. Your brain can change – this is called neuroplasticity. It means you can make new paths in your brain for better thoughts and habits.

After a trip, your brain is extra ready to change. Trips help grow new links in your brain cells. They shake up old ways, so you can build new ones fast. This "window" lasts days or weeks. Use it! Do daily acts to program your brain for thanks, being real, and fun. If you skip, old habits might return. But keep going, and changes stick.

We use Internal Family Systems (IFS). This means thinking of feelings inside you as "parts." Be kind to them, like a calm leader. Each day has:

  • Parts Talk (IFS Prompt): Talk to your inner parts.

  • Write It Down (Journal Prompt): Write thoughts, with thanks or true self focus.

  • Do This (Practice): A simple act to help body and mind, building brain changes.

Do one day at a time. Be gentle. Print this and write in the spaces.

How to Stick to Your Practice

Consistency is more important than duration—aim for daily sessions to form a habit. Here are practical tips:

  • Set Realistic Goals and a Routine: Define what success looks like (e.g., 10 minutes daily) and tie it to an existing habit, like after brushing your teeth.

  • Use Tools for Support: Apps or podcasts (e.g., Insight Timer, Calm) provide guided meditations and reminders. Track your streaks to stay motivated.

  • Join a Community: Meditate with a group in-person or online for accountability and shared experiences. Ohm Academy offers a free Integration Circle.

  • Reflect and Be Kind: After each session, note what went well or what distracted you. Remind yourself why you're meditating (e.g., for calm) and forgive lapses—restart without self-criticism.

  • Incorporate Variety: If seated meditation feels stagnant, try walking meditation to keep things engaging.

If you miss days, view it as part of the process—research shows habits form over 2-3 months with patience. Consult a teacher or app for personalized guidance if needed

CLOSING BLESSING

May your integration be tender, truthful, and tenacious. What you glimpsed is not outside you — it is you, unmasked. Carry the silence forward. Walk as the remembrance.
